Stigma has been identified as the most significant barrier to seeking mental health services among Black women. Black women and women of color need access to mental health information and resources without feeling judged, stigmatized and/or ostracized. Despite the needs, only one in three Black adults with mental illness receive treatment. We must put an end to this and promote awareness and treatment options.

ATP trains women to identify and detect the signs of mental health illness; help women facilitate conversations about mental health, wellness, and well-being; teach women to promote and incorporate mental health practices into their sister circles and communities; recognize and understand the resources that the community of support has available around them. ATP works together to provide opportunities to allow each Black woman and woman or color to flourish in her own way.

A HER Cause, Inc. Ambassador gathers a group of ladies together. It may look like a girls’ night out, or a pajama party, or a coffee and tea date with a few friends. Who doesn’t love time with other ladies?

The Ambassador will conduct a two-hour session. The session will include distributing researched information; sharing strategies, tips, and tools and ways to respond to misperceptions, and demonstrating how the ATP toolkits operate and benefit in times of crisis.

Each session will lead to future sessions which increase our success target goal of reaching over 1 million women per year.

No. All mental health material is researched and developed by mental health experts and specialists. All material and information are the lifeline of ATP and are best shared to attain our goal of reaching over 1 million women per year.

The HER Cause. Inc. Ambassador Training Program Application fee is $99.00, and you will receive an ATP Starter Bundle.

Each Ambassador is a volunteer. All opportunities are volunteer opportunities with outstanding rewards. The more women you train, the greater your chances of earning incentive trips, rewards, recognition at events, free HER Cause, Inc. products, and HER Cause, Inc. Success Awards.

Upon completion of ATP, Ambassadors will receive a certificate of completion. Completing ATP will equip each Ambassadors to train other women, while providing awareness and resources.

You set your schedule, work wherever you want and determine your level of effort, whether working from your phone or meeting with prospective Ambassadors and groups in person.

Once you become a HER Cause, Inc. Ambassador, you join a diverse and inclusive community with team members who serve as advocates for overall mental health wellness. You become a part of a community willing to guide women with grace, wisdom, and skill.

Each Ambassador links with other Ambassadors to promote mental health to those around her, and at HER Cause, Inc. events and conferences.

We have created a movement of women who want to share the knowledge about increased access to mental health resources. ATP is more than just girl time. ATP is engaging, informative, and interactive. We are committed to cultivating a safe space for women to share, learn and become strengthen by knowledge.

As a result of ATP, women will become equip and empowered, while building healing connections.
